ME/MY Values

HELLO

My name is Charlotte and as well as being a photographer for over two decades, I’m a mum to three small people.

I have a number of aims when working with clients on either family or commercial shoots:

  • To be open, friendly and approachable.
  • For you to come away feeling like the photo shoot was relaxed.
  • To be honest and to run a business with integrity at its core
  • To be inclusive of everyone from all walks of life – I welcome working with anyone, regardless of race, religious belief, disability, sexuality or gender reassignment.

ACCESSIBILITY

Over the years I have worked with families who have had additional needs that have required extra consideration when booking in photo shoots.

I am aware that every child is different and has different needs, and in fact every adult is too. In the past I have worked with individuals and families with mobility differences, hearing loss and neurodivergence. I am always happy to tailor a photo shoot to your needs, whether that’s in terms of location, duration or in more finer detail.

If there are any accessibility issues that would affect you or a family member when booking a photo shoot please feel free to contact me to discuss this further and I will do everything I can to accommodate you.

Not for Profit

Since 2018 I’ve worked with From Babies With Love, a not-for-profit organisation that creates beautiful and ethically made gifts and clothes for babies. Every penny of profit made goes towards supporting vulnerable children and to date they have raised over £165,000.

They are a company that I am proud to work for. Their social-enterprise model in this sector is pioneering, and the passion from the founder Cecilia and the other staff is infectious.

If you are a not-for-profit organisation and would like to know more about reduced photography rates and what I can do to help your organisation, please get in touch.

Charity Shoots
& Free Places

I have held charity shoots in London and Norwich, which have raised over £7,500 to date.

Charities that have benefitted so far have been Reverse Rett, Save The Children, the Grenfell Fire Fund, The Feed Foundation,  Family Holiday Charity and Bookbanks.

Places cost £39 and you get two photos included in the price, with additional photos available for purchase separately. A minimum of 50% of the shoot fee goes to charity. There are free/pay-what-you-can places for those who are unable to afford it, on a no questions asked basis. There is also the option for people to pay it forward and to pay for a space for a family who could not otherwise afford to attend.
